Payment Information

Accepted Forms of Payment

  • You can pay by Visa, MasterCard or AMEX, and:
  • We understand some people aren't in a position to use a credit card so we also offer the ability to pay by Direct Deposit and company cheque (but we're unable to ship orders until the funds have cleared in these cases).
  • You can also pay by PayPal if you prefer this method.
  • All prices on the website are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable.

Goods and Services Tax - GST

As an Australia-based reseller, Optomo is required to charge GST where applicable. Nearly all products on Optomo's sites must have GST included, but some products are exempt. In any case the amount of tax charged will appear with the price, and is totaled in the checkout procedure.

When you place your order you will receive a confirmation that will include an appropriate Tax Invoice, indicating the taxable items and the appropriate tax amount. You will not receive a second Tax Invoice with the physical goods so you should keep the confirmation email.

Shipping Information

We only ship to Australian and New Zealand addresses.

The standard delivery fee is a flat rate of $9.90 for regular courier delivery in Australia and $30 for international delivery to New Zealand.

Express Delivery

Overnight delivery is available for certain destinations if an order is placed before 1pm AEST and costs $15.00. Please contact us if you require express delivery.

Free Delivery

You may sign up to become a member of the Optomo website and receive free delivery on all orders over $99 to Australian addresses only.

Our shopping cart pages use full 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) transaction encryption to ensure all our customer's personal details are safe and secure. Coupons

From time to time Optomo may issue an online coupon instead of a refund. If you have an online coupon, make sure to read the exclusions and instructions carefully. Please pay careful attention to the offer's start and end dates.

How to use your coupon code:

  • Proceed to the checkout when you've finished shopping.
  • Enter your coupon code in the appropriate box.
  • Verify your coupon was applied to the product price.
  • Submit your order and enjoy your savings!

Warranty

Optomo offers a 12 month warranty on all products.

Health Fund Rebates

You may be eligible for a rebate from your health fund if you present your invoice with product details. It depends on your health fund and level of cover.

Returns and Refund Policy

We abide by the Refunds Policy of the Queensland Government Office of Fair Trading.

You are entitled to return goods and ask for a refund,
exchange or repair if the goods you purchased:

  • Have a fault that you could not have known about at the time of purchase.
  • Are not the same as the description provided by the salesperson or advertisement.
  • Do not match the sample you were shown at the time of purchase; and/or
  • Do not do the job as you were led to believe.

You are not entitled to a refund if you:

  • Simply change your mind or no longer want the goods;
  • realise you can't afford the goods;
  • found the same item at a cheaper price elsewhere;
  • chose the wrong size or colour;
  • knew about the particular fault prior to purchase; and/or
  • were responsible for causing the fault.

Terms & Conditions

  • We will exchange or refund a product if you meet the above returns and refund policy criteria and it is returned to us in it's original condition, undamaged and unopened. The customer will pay freight costs.
  • Defective products will be replaced with the original product purchased. For products that cannot be replaced. a full refund will be provided. Optomo will pay freight.
  • If you have a problem with your order you must lodge a return request by phone or email within 14 days of order delivery.
